In reading many pages of stories from parents who are dealing with a child or children who are bedwetters, and with myself also being the parent of a bedwetter, I feel great compassion for what you are going through. Many of the parents have tried numerous methods of helping their child. Yet, in reading their stories, there is one thing I did not see any of the parents trying. Have any of you tried praying about your child's problems?? God is the Great Physician and it is He that will help your child ultimately. Nothing is impossible with God's enablement. We receiveth not because we ask not. I would put more promise in this method of "treatment" than any other available to man. God's powers to heal and cure go far beyond anything that mere man has ever devised. God WILL answer your prayers.

Starting to have a easier time of diapering my 10 year old son for bed. I've been diapering him since March. Now he doesn't resist at all. He is learning that having a wet diaper in the morning is much better thab a wet bed. He does still say the plastic pants are for babies though. Actually they are, they're extra large gerber kind but I have to put them on him or the diapers will leak and I keep explaining that to him.

I have this problem with my 8 yr old son who i just took to a doctor about2 or 3 months ago. To find out that he has a weak bladder. Everyday he is put into diapers and at nighttime he is wearing goodnites. I Know goodnites can hold pee but can it hold poop. I feel bad enough that he has to be put into diapers all day but I really want him to be wearing neither pull ups or goodnites btu i reather it be goodnites. I'm not sure if that would be a safe move durning the day but i need some addvice. I love my son a lot and feel bad about this whole thing. Ever since this peeing and pooping thing started for him he didn't want to go to school so now is he homeschooled because of it. Like i said i just want the best for my son can anybody give me addvise if i should keep him in diapers all day like i've have been or should i start having him wear goodnites all day. Thanks Tom

Anyone from Sydney Australia?? We should all get together and let the kids have a sleep over. Its so sad they can never go to any sleep over parties. Any suggestions on how to organize this? Or some thoughts on this Idea?

I wrote before when my child wet the bed for the first time he did not come in and say dad i wet the bed he hid the sheets and under wear under the bed and got new ones for himself. When i went to collect his laundry sunday i found about 4 sets of sheets and 5 pairs of underwear when i questioned him he said he did not know what happened he avensoly said he wet the bed.but what i wondered was why he did not tell me so i thought he just was doing at night or in the morning so he does not have to get out of bed to use the bathroom so i made him use the same sheets intill sunday if he wet or not so some days he has to sleep in a wet bed. Some say to rty pullups and goodnites for him during the nite but i refuse because he is not a BABY

I think every one complaining about bedwetting childrenaged 8 years and under, should get off this website and leave some room for the more serious cases. It is quiet normal for a child to wet the bed up to the age of 8 years. Do some research before you whine

My 12 year old daughter wakes up almost every night because she has to pee. Sometimes she gets up and goes to the bathroom, but most nights she already started to go and doesn't bother getting up. Befor she wore goodnites, she would just finish in her underpants. Now, with the goodnites, she is wet every night. I was a bedwetter until I was 14, every night, and I just got used to wetting the bed, underpants. Any other kids that do the same?

I've been using diapers on my 10 year old boy for about amonth now. This is the neatest thing. No more wet beds, less laundry to do and his rooms nicer too. I'm pinning cloth ones on him, three at a time and putting plastic pants on him too. I tried putting a big Pamper kind on over the cloth, it was okay. He's doing really good with diapers too. Now wehn I tell him it's diaper time, he comes with me without fussing. The plstic pants are kind of babyish ( designs ) but I don't care. He wears them so what the heck. I di let my neighbor friend in on this. She said it was about time I took care of it. Now I know I can have her watch him if I need to, she has kids too. This is really neat, I glad I finally did it. Does anyone know of an infant diaper that is great for a heavy wetter? I have tried every major brand there is and all of them leak. Or do you have a suggestion of how to rig the diaper so that it doesn't leak through onto his clothes and bed??? I would appreciate any suggestions.

My son is embarassed about his bedwetting. We've tried the nose spray, decreasing his fluid intake at night, and on occassion having him use goodnites. He hides the goodnites in his room when they are wet and brags that he was "dry". The smell leads me to where he hid them. He is a boyscout and wants to go on campouts. I am concerned about what could happen. He is avoiding acknowledging that this is a problem. I don't get mad at him for soiling the bed, I have him change his own sheets. We go through a lot of sheets because they have been washed so much. I'd like to try the bed alarm. Any suggestions?

Hello, I came into my local library, and got on the computer to look for information on bedwetting. I found this site, and was happy to know I am not on my own with this problem. My child is 13 years old and really needs help. I have seen a urologist and he gave a prescription for two kinds of pills...one a anti depressive and the other was DPPV or something like that for a suspected lack of hormone. She has taken them for six months and it has not helped at all. I am now looking for someone who might have a alarm to sell. I can't afford a lot of money for one as I got laid off last Christmas, and am only working part time at the moment. If anyone has a used one to sell could you please contact me at the library email address of g300d@yahoo.com I would be very grateful. Also, if anyone can give me any input on the alarms like did you find they worked or whatever, I would appreciate that also. Thanks in advance,Georgina
