hi my child wet durring the day just a litte bt not the whole thing so i was wondering if anyone here had tried those gerber padded traingpants that aer excaly like underwear but it has a padded area down there

My 11 year old son heard some where that he can where a condum instead of a diaper to school i was just wondering if that would work or not he is a light wetter but he wets engough that i would show with out a diaper right not he is wearing pull ups i would also like to know if nad here ever used those gerber padded under wear things coments liked alot please resond

It Seems to me that putting children of all ages from 3 to 16 +years back in to nappies and plastic pants is more of an American thing Americans seem more open about it than British parents would I be right in thinking this and why do you think this could be? by reading this board and hopefully putting something constructive into the web site as a parent of three whom we have had problems with our own children but due to special needs and not through enerisis our youngest was 7 when he came out of nappies 24/7 and was dry at night in the same year 6 months after .Question: Do parents really try other methods to get their children dry at night first or is putting children back into nappies and plastic pants an all to easy option! I know I will probably get some parents backs up by this last statement!reading some postings parents say that they put a nappy and plastic pants on their child even teenagers to travel when they go for a long journey I use to travel 400 miles up to scotland with my children and use to stop several times to let them use the toilet it would not have entered my mind to have stuck a nappy and plastic pants on my kids!and if they did have one on in Britain you would get strange looks from people! please try and answer this constructively please!This is a valid enquirey

we need a new diaper, our son has had bedwetting problems for the past year. so we have put him back in diapers at night. We have been using depends but we have found that that they have leaked and have been quite pricy too. also we have recntly tried the goodnights but they are even worse than the depends as far as leakage goes. I have heared that that attends diapers are really good, but I have looked everywhere and can't find them. thanks for your info.

I have 2 girls 1 6 and 1 4 my 4 year old daughter has been potty trained for 3 years on her own. For the past 7 days she has been going to the bathroom in the bed and is now going to the bathroom in the middle of her bedroom floor. I have had her to the Dr. he tells me she has no problem. What do you think should be done.

My child JeanRenee who is 7 likes to wear her triple sisters Savans Kila Casandra who are 3 i started to notice that our pullup supplys were going down faster and faster and did not really know why untill yesterday when her teacher called and said that she had wet her pants and her pull up leack and that is why her pants were wet i did so then i went up in to JenaRenees room to look around and noticed that she had pull ups and easy up (her sister) in her room so i called the school back and asked her teacher to ask her if she wears the pull ups cuz she needed them or just wants to like for fun and she told her teacher that she likes to wear them for fun cuz her little sisters have them so she gets them from them. I have yet to Talk to JenaRenee about this i just wanted to know if i should contiun to let her do this till her sisters are finished potty training or to kepp letting her do this forever or if i should tell her that she can not do this or just let h er wear them at home or what i am not sure and i would also want to know if all the attention that her sisters get cuz they are triplets would make her want to do this for attention to Thanks Comments much appriciated Kelly

Matt, Do you still wet and do your children wet too? If you do, has there ever been a time when you didn't wet? What do the Dr's say? I assume you are married, did your wife know that you were a bed wetter before marriage?

My girls have both,at some time written to the boards on this site but now i feel i need some advise..My youngest wets her bed every night and wears cloth nappies and plastic pants,she also occasionally poos in them aswell,this only happens if she doesnt perform on the toilet befor bed.The main problem is my older daughter,who i have recently found is wearing her sisters plastic pants.She is an occasional bedwetter,it seems to happen if she is constipated for a few days.The last time this happened she was put back in nappies to cope with the wetting at night.As she hadnt had a poo for over a week on that occasion i kept her off school as she was soiling her pants alot and her bum was very sore.She surprised me by asking if she could wear a nappy,i agreed and put her in one,and within an hour of wearing it had filled it with poo.Can anyone tell me why she finds it easier to poo in a nappy?and whether i should let her continue to wear plastic pants.Could this be a rebellion for the strict toilet training they had?
