I've posted here before but i need your advice. I'm incontinent and i've managed to get myself pregnant. I'm only just starting pregnancy but i wondered two things. First what diapers can i wear when it's really obvious and my bulge is big and also will my baby be incontinent too? I thoughtn you'd know more than kids.

Hi everyone. As a kid I wet the bed ocassionally and it completely stopped until I turned 21 with accidents here and there. I'm married and have accidents about 3 or 4 times a year. My husband (who never wet as a kid) and I don't talk about it. I think he knows it's very embarrasing for me so we just ignore it. The other night I woke up and went to the bathroom (my husband awoke as well) and then it happened about 1 hr later. I remembered that I was dreaming that I was going to the bathroom and then realized I did - in the bed! Usually I remember my dreams and have had a few like that. I am also a deep sleeper so I'm fearful of wetting more often. Anyone have a similar experience? My question: should I seek medical advice or just ignore it? Is it part physical & psychological? Any help would be great.

Hi. I not a bedwetter myself, but I am married to one, and both our sons wet. My husband (who is also 34) has a physical condition which makes it impossible for his body to hold urine when he sleeps. He wears an adult diaper when he sleeps, our 10-year-old wears pull-up diapers, but our 12-year-old has to wear regular baby diapers because he wets so much, which is embarrassing for him. He has learned to diaper himself, so nobody has to do it for him. We hope our sons haven't inherited their father's condition and will grow out of it. They get a lot of support from him.
The reason I am posting here is that I live in a house full of bedwetters, but I have never been one myself, and I can't really relate. My husband doesn't like to talk about it and my kids are just kids. I was hoping some of you could post replies and tell me what it's like. I would really appreciate it as I think it would bring me closer to my family. I have a few questions and you can tell me anything else you'd like. 1. What does it feel like to go to bed knowing you'll wet the bed? 2. What is it like to wake up having wet? 3. If you use diapers, how do you feel about it? My husband did it before we were together to protect the bedding and make his mornings more comfortable. 4. I imagine everyone learns to live with the condition like my husband did, how hard was it? Anything else you could tell me would be so much appreciated.

Hi everyoneAt last I've figured out what causes my bedwetting problem. Since I was born I've had a condition called Asperger's Syndrome (an Autistic Spectrum Disorder with bits of Dyspraxia (confusion with balance) and Dyslexia (confusion with words) mixed in). Having looked up the symptoms for the various problems I found that one symptom of Dyslexia is bedwetting (as well as motion sickness, which I also get).So I've now got a reason as to why I'm wetting the bed, only problem is now I need a solution. Anyone else here have Dyslexia or Asperger's and wet the bed?

For a long time, I have used COMCO vinyl pants over disposable diapers for extra protection. COMCO now has a website http://www.comco-mn.com They have reasonable and AMERICAN made vinyl pants for adults that I find very satisfactory and long-lasting.Hope this helps some of you.JOHN.

hi. i am female and live in the us. i have been a bedwetter all my life. when i was younger it was worse....but in my 20's onward it is a little better. however i still wet. i find now it happens sporadically. i can go for a few mnonths with no bedwetting. then, i will wet for a few nights or 1 night. then nothing until maybe a few weeks or months later.it is so horrible because i never know when it is going to strike. needless to say, i have never really had a normal life. no sleepovers, hardly travel and of course i am not married. i am afraid to sleep anywhere but in my own bed. i have tried the alarms and they worked but then when i stopped the bedwetting returned. i think i need to try the alarms and stay with it longer. i really feel for everyone out there....especially the older people like myself because like me we have had to grow up with this secret and cant tell our friends about it. anyone know anything that can help adult bedwetters like myself with occasional occurences?
