Allen, London, UK - This is my 1st post here as I’ve just come across this site. My background is this: I’ve always had an extremely weak bladder and up until about a year and a half ago I would wet the bed maybe around 5 times a year, if that. The last year and a half I’ve been wetting the bed every night which has prompted me to see a urologist. After having waited an agonising 8 months, I finally had an appointment and as it turns out I have Spina Bifida Occulta. The diagnosis basically backed up every health problem I have had all my entire life but the knowledge that I was born with it and that it was only a matter of time before it manifested itself has thrown me into some deep depression. Along with incontinence, my condition also comes with the inability to maintain an erection. It’s as if one indignity wasn’t enough. I’m also a gay man and at 17, when I came out to myself, I never thought I would ever go back to that ‘dark’ place where you feel you are alone in your problem that no one else can comprehend or empathise. Now, at 29, I feel like I have been dragged back there again. Having read some of the posts here has made me feel less alone but doesn’t detract from the pain of knowing what I have. What I do hope is that in time, I will be able to accept the way my life is going to be from now on.

OK...I NO I AM ONLY 13 BUT...I NEED HELP FROM AN ADULT...i have wet the bed my whole life. i have a brother and a sister.but they dont wet olny me. my sister always has a friend over,not just for the night but for weeks. and i try my hardest to hide the fact that i wet but it never works.sometimes they laugh at me and other times they comfort me . a girl named sam is over now...when she found out she comforted me. sam is being really nice to me. but my sisters other friends are real mean. wat can i do to hide it better?

Hi there, is there anybody that can help me with suggetions to my problem.I used to wet the bed regularly until I was about 16 when I stopped and for the past five years have been dry,but recently I have started to do it again.The first couple of times it was after going to parties and I must admit I got quite drunk on both occasions and both times wet my bed, but since then I am doing it at least a couple of times a week and soon I am supposed to be moving in with my friend but she does not know of my problem. Why have I suddenly started after being dry for just over five years?

I cant belive there are so meny other adult girls my age with bed wetting problems. I have suffered with this all my life and I have accidents during the day. Pills dont work, excersizes dont work. I want to go and get involved with excersize calsses but am to embaressed to be there wearing a diaper. So I posted about wetting the bed. Last night I got some diapers becasue it will be very bad if I wet the bed again. I was wondering will wearing diapers to bed make me more prone to continue wetting at night. I mean will wearing diapers make night wetting more frequent for me. Thanks

Hi the other night I had a dream that I was peeing in the toilet. And then I woke up and realized that my boxers were wet and that my bed was wet. I was wondering if anyone ever had an expereince with this type of dream, and if anyone knows what it means. That is, do you think since it happened last night it will happen again. Do you think I should purchase diapers? Please let me know what you think. Thanks

I’m 18 y/o girl and I live a normal life, but I have an annoying problem. When I get scared or really nervous, I wet myself. Pee just starts running down my legs and I can’t stop it. It’s really embarrassing. It doesn’t help even if I went to the bathroom minutes before that. I let out less pee, but I still wet myself. Does anyone have similar problem? I went to the doctor because of that, but he couldn’t help me. He said, that is nothing wrong with me physically.

I am a 28 year old male, and for the past 2 weeks, I have been waking up in a wet bed. I have no prior bedwetting problems, and this is new to me. My wife brought home some Depends Underware for me to wear, but I feel like less of a man because of it. I have been looking for information, that may point to the cause, but nothing seems right. I do not drink more then 12 beers a week, and 1 cup of coffee a day. I use the bathroom right before bed, but nothing seems to help....Any advice?
