Hi,Have any of you been tested for diabetes? My sister Jenn is 10 years old (we are twins) and when she was 4 or 5 she started wetting the bed again. It wasn't every night, but maybe 2 or 3 times a month. Her foster parents took her to the doctor and he said it was because of a sicological (mental) problem because she had such a rough childhood. Later she fainted andhad to go to the hospital and they did some blood tests and found out that she is diabetic. Some other signs of diabetes is that you feel hungry and thirsty all the time, but you lose wait and feel week. Now my sister stays on a diet and takes medicine, but she hasn't wet the bed since then. Over the last few months I have had daytime accidents. My mom and dad have been changing me into "Attends for Teens" and they make me wear them all the time so that "I am not embarassed by my accidents". At the beginning I didn't mind the diapers because they only made me wear them at home and I wear adult pull ups to school, but they are very thin and you cannot see them or hear them, unlike the diapers I am to wear at my house. The problem is, on Saturday I had an accident during the day when we were out and about. My mom and dad had previously warned me that when that happened I would be wearing a diaper at all times. When I did it my mom took me home and changed me then we went back out. It was pretty embarassing. Here is my real problem: I am a dancer and my mom is even making me wear the "Attends for Teens" to my classes. It is really embarassing, because they make noise and you can see them under my dance clothes. Do any of you have a suggestion about what I can do or how I could make a deal with my mom about not wearing them to dance? I have already asked her for another chance and she said "definately not". Please help me. The more posts the better! Thanks!

Hi, Joe, I know what wetting the bed is like your wet cold, but I never wore diapres. Take it from a past bed wetter.I never used plastic sheets either.I tryed not to drink much at night.Do you ware diapres to school? Are you embaressed by it,I would be.I wouldn't ware a diaper unless I had a medical problem with wetting. I couldn't find you on the bulletin board, this is the only way I can answer your question.

This is for boys who wet a little or only dribble during school, but dont want to wear a diaper to school.First put on 1-3 pairs of white cotton briefs or boxerbriefs. Then put on a pair of normal boxers over them. Then you can wear normal pants over all of it.The cotton briefs will absorb the urine, and let your body heat evapourate the moisture away and dry them fast. If any drops come thru the cotton briefs, thew will hit the boxers not your pants. And since the boxers are loose, they dont absorb the urine, they act of a barrier between your dirty briefs and pants.Remember - urine is really not that gross. It is just water and some chemicals, and can be used to make soap. Try it it works dont be ashamed.

Hi,Guys, To all bed wetters:The only thing I see wrong with wetting the bed is you wake cold and wet.I had this problem when I was 9 to 15.I'm now 25 will be 26 in june.I once in a while I'll have wet dreams sometimes I'll pee and wake up soked,wake up as I'm peeing,or get up before I pee and go to the bathroom. Bed wetters don't bother me.No need to ware diapers to bed put plastic sheets on it. About wetting/pooping your pants during the day: If it can't be helped it can't be help.You should not ware dipers. There are times I just could not help not peeing or pooping my pants. I feel there is nothing wrong with it except when I'm in public or around other family members or in school it can get embarresing pooping more than peeing so in these cases try to make it to the bathroom.If you need to pee really bad and not near a bathroom just go make it so it not noticeable by othres.Don't feel ashamed.Don't let any one force you to ware diapers.Pants wetters/poopers don't bother me. you.re still my friend

A few weeks ago I stayed overnight at a friend's house. I don't usally wet the bed but I do on occation. Well that night was one of those occations. When I woke up I was really wet. I was so embarrased! I really don't want to do it again. Is their anything I can do to stop wetting the bed?

I have one problem I have wet the bed since age 3 and now I am having day time wetting. I am in grade 7 last week I was at school in math class and I had to go to the bathroom I thought that I could wait till the end of the class 45 mins in to the class I knew I couldn't so I ask the teacher if I could go to the bathroom he said no wait till the end of the class. 10 mins later I felt my pants getting warm I saw the water go on the floor I had wet my pants. I have wet my pants 20 times since. please help me! Hannah.
