Jolie, I have a step son that is grown now but was a bed wetter until he was 16. We realized too late that he had and has a sleep disorder. I married his mother when he was four. we finally decided to put him back in diapers and he was in diapers at night until he was about 16. He would not wake up when his bed was wet. Before we diapered him again he would soak his bed all the way to the pillow. One night ,when he was about 9 or 10 we came back from a drive in movie. I carried him into the house, changed his wet diaper and put him in bed. He never woke up. Be carefull about the ADD thing. That is the rage now. It's an easy out for the schools that can't teach and the shrinks that want to sell mind altering drugs. If I were you I would talk to your hubby and try to explain that the boy has some kind of problem and get the boy to a doctor. In the mean time you may want to look at asking the boy if he would be willing to use GOOD NITES to keep his bed dry. It is not healthy for him to lay all night in a wet bed. He will find that it is much more comfortable to wake up in wet pants than a wet bed as my kid did. We had a fight at first but before long he would tell me when he wanted to go to bed so I could diaper him. There was no such thing as big kids pants back then.Good luck. Let us know how things go. By the way, I am Incon now due to an auto accident so I know what I am talking about.
