Jack: You may get more replies than just mine here. But if you look back at the posts, you may be able to find some users of DDAVP. Nonetheless,if you locate on the Wetbuster website the [Parents Home Page], don't move from the page as entitled [Solving the Bedwetting Puzzle] but rather merely scroll down about halfway and you will have info on Medications, including DDAVP. I will quote here in part my reply dated June 7.03 to a Laura who had asked about DDAVP....."The nasal spray you referenced is Desmopressin(called DDAVP and also known as ADH for Anti-Diuretic Hormone)....It is important to know the drug is a management tool and not a cure". I then went on to mention that we know it to be an expensive medication and one has to examine its value with respect to the returns it will provide. Side effects seem to be a rare issue though I did notice one having been mentioned. The cost may not be important to some, and sensative to others that correspond in this site. I hope this gives you some insight and then too that others more conversant with its use will join in and offer their experience(s)....mr j **Tom usa, where are you**
