It is very common (and easy) for children with incontinence to develop attachments to diapers. As to what to do about it... There's nothing really wrong with kids liking diapers BUT it can be dangerous if it's a means for the child to feel like he/she doesn't have to "grow up". In other words, they can just stay "a baby" and be cared for forever. Babying a child too much can (in my opinion) stunt their emotional growth... just as too much tough love can backfire. I'd try giving the child more love and attention without the diapers, and see what happens.
