Reply from Tom, Child's Age N/A - 11/22/02 - IP#: 159.39.16.14There could be many reasons for your daughter's wetting problem, and you don't give enough specific information to figure out what a likely cause might be. Did she wet the bed while she was asleep or did she wake up and maybe was afraid to get out of the bed and go to the bathroom in the dark? Assuming that she quit wetting the bed when she started wetting on the floor could mean that she is trying to get to the bathroom and just couldn't hold it, or maybe she is still afraid to go in the dark but figured out that if she wets on the floor she still has a dry bed. She could also get out of bed and not be fully awake, and wet on the floor without realizing she is doing it. You need to put a bit more effort into finding out why she is wetting before you can figure out what to do about it. It could be as simple as using a night light so she can find her way to the bathroom at night, or if she is wetting while asleep (or not really awake) going back to diapers at night might be the answer. |
