Reply from layla, Child's Age 11&7 - 11/10/02 - IP#: 62.252.160.5hi marie,thanks for you reply,i tried to talk to the eldest about why she is wearing plastic pants,she says it makes her feel more confident when she is soiling alot like at the moment as she is constipated.she also asked if she can wear nappies.her reason is that she says it doesnt hurt her as much to poo in a nappy.she added that her sis is allowed to go in her nappy.I explained that sis is not allowed to poo her nappy it just sometimes happens by accident.I dont know if i should go back to being strict about toiletting again,it seems like she is becoming untrained,and is constipated often which didnt happen very often when she had the strict routine and had to poo each day.She is staying home tomorrow as she has just had another unsucessful sit on the toilet.I was uncertain if to put her in a nappy tonight,but i dont think she witheld on purpose as i went in a couple of times and she was trying so i have reluctantly put her in one.thanks for your advise |
