Marie: As many times I have lurked around your post here, I avoided saying anything as it seemed not quite appropriate for me to do so. So, why now? It is your reply to Layla, just today posted and for awhile on Pg.1 where you said that "moms do not use plastic pants anymore anyway" or something to that effect. You are so wrong, so wrong. Have you not been reading any of the posts and reply posts. Could you yourself have discouraged your daughter in this matter. I learned early-on when trying to find items myself, for me myself, that the up to date name for them is diaper covers. Of course practically everyone just says plastic pants, which covers a wide range of fabrics. And I have not been able to comprehend why you continually referred to them as "old fashioned plastic pants". They are certainly not "old fashioned" They have a very useful function given certain circumstances and all little ones who wear cloth diapers should and do have several pairs. They cannot be without them, or else!!! Not inapropriate over disposables either. One more thing, if I may. I myself have a couple nylon/urethane and a couple pairs of natural rubber pants, the latter of which are the most comfortable items I could want. Sorry I had to add that, but this seems to have been the topic of your post, not so much about your wonderful daughter, in a sort of way. Regards Mr. John
