Reply from Tom, Child's Age 10/15/19 - 11/6/02 - IP#: 62.252.32.6Dear Jo,Alas I can sympathize with you about your son smelling I would like to share a story with you I was like your son The kids will notice him They did with me they called me smelly I messed my underpants and I did not have the mentality at that time to associate that the reason they called me smelly was becuse I messed in my pants yes it was lazyness on my part I also never wiped myself properly encouragement,praise and being firm but kind I feel is the answer I was a Timid child, quiet, and very intraverted he probably is masking the fact that children are calling him names as you said you smelt him I did the same if he does not know how to wipe himself then show him and keep showing him get him into a routine in going to have a bowel move ment makeb time in the morning and at night It will benefit in the long run it has taken me a lot of courage to admit this but if it helps some one and your son it would be worth telling the whole world what I went through as a child obviously I am a parent and an adult and changed my ways! hope this helps Jo. best wishes Tom |
