Reply from Tom, Child's Age 10/15 /19 - 10/28/02 - IP#: 62.252.32.6Roger What Rona said could be true especially as your son now is 13 and at an impressionable age yes he could subconciously like the feel and security that a nappy gives him the warmth of the urine soaked nappy comforts him do not be angry try to understand him it is a highly complex matter to deal with you said you put him back into diapers and he resisted it depends how the child reacted if you said to him you have to have these diapers on then he psychologically may have felt you were treating him as a baby so he will be a baby and hence the reason he is doing what he is doing that is one theory! 2 and the other is what I said at the begining but both need to be handled sympathetically talking if you cant talk to him your wife his aunt etc some one close but not a brother perhaps an older sister if he has one that he gets on with.must close now hope this is of help! best wishes Tom |
