yes you did the right thing. once you've noticed a problem, you need to act immediatly to show the child that you are concerned. talk to her and explain the consequenses of continually wetting, ask her why she does it and how she feels. By all means send her to school in pull ups to save her any embaressment, but inform the teacher that she needs to go to the toilet every two hours, get her into a routine so as to avoid accidents. put a spare pair of pullups in her bag in case of accident but try praising her or rewarding her daily for returning home dry from school. give her some incentive to stay dry and when you find she does it over a period of time start rewarding her wearing normal underwear and remaining dry
