What is the age of the younger sister? Your daughter may be envious of her younger sister and this way commands your attention. However, you must start somewhere and if you review the many entries on this website, you are going to receive many that seem to have a common theme. Is there any other reason she might do this and how does she do at night? For starters though, I perceived that you were using the pull-ups as punishment, which should not be the case. So to start, sit her down and tell her she cannot continue to wet. Be calm and positive about it and tell her that if she does so, she will have to wear the pull-ups of her own and see how it goes for a day or two. Do not force her on the toilet or make her do anything difficult to do. Then should things not proceed in a positive way, as you will hope it will, start to think then about using a diaper and if needed rubber or plastic pants. But do it all in a matter-of-fact way. Include your husband in decisions and proceedures so that you are both of one mind. |
