My son (8) is a bedwetter, my cousin was a bedwetter until 16/17, I was a bedwetter until 12/13. I WISH they had had goodnites. I can't say how much easier it is for my son, he goes to sleepovers, has friends over and we are even thinking about camp. Goodnites made that possible. I don't think that kids should be "put back" into diapers. I think it should be presented as a possible solution until the problem is outgrown. The problem is medical in nature. You don't take a cast off of a broken arm because it's not healed yet, but the person should "get used to it" The solution is hormonal and almost always, 99% of the time, cured through the passage of time, usually sometime during puberty. Try the alarm of course, if it works great, if it doesn't don't use it for a year and then claim that it did work when they stop, when really they just outgrew the problem. Everyone needs to find the solution that works for them, without getting mad at eachother but NO KID should have to wake up in a cold wet bed every morning.
