Am terribly sorry. Did not notice until later that the trip home for mom and the girls is by train. Grandfather No.One does have a point. Of course there are added time delays over the train ride, but I am sure that mom does not care to have problems as they are riding along. I cannot speak for train facilities anymore, not using some for many years, but I suspect they are not generously roomy though probably kept clean, etc as they were some years ago. While I still feel that the girls in this case are more comfortable and content travelling in their diapers. The girls, both of them, are not exactly in toilet training as they are beyond that. It would do well for mom to carry a towel or sheet and change the girls about half way home. Nonetheless, it does seem that the culture today in such travelling events, by car or by train,or by plane, or even on a cruise ship, calls for telling many of the children that they will be wearing diapers to avoid stops or "just in case" problems. This could lead to another discussion entirely.
