This was effective on me except that my problem was emotional from the stress I felt in my home life and the demands of school. Allow your child to talk freely about absolutely anything that is bothering her. She may say nothing at first, but if you set a regular time to sit quietly and allow her to speak, maybe something will come out. If she can speak of it without retribution and without anyone saying "That's not important", she can come to terms with it or gve you the chance to help settle it. |
