However, there is still a high degree of embarrassment, because they are afraid that their friends (e.g. at school) will find out and mock them. The odds are that some of their friends also wet at night, but they never get to find out, as their friends also would be too embarrassed to talk about it. You obviously don’t appreciate the power of peer pressure (especially among teenagers) to be just like their friends, or to be more accurate, like they perceive their friends to be. |
