The top three (as you said) were growing out of it (34%), punishment (23%) and embarrassment (20%). These total 77%. If we rule out punishment, which I regard as a form of child abuse, as it is something that they cannot help doing, we are left with growing out of it and embarrassment. Bob seems to grossly underestimate the embarrassment of wearing nappies/diapers as an inducement to become dry. I would like to know what the 16% other consisted of. As you say, alarms and rewards were nowhere. Maybe those, who were successful with alarms, no longer visit this site to take part in the poll. |
