Reply from david, Child's Age 30 - 3/30/02 - IP#: 216.209.139.72hi i was reading some of the stories on this site and keeping your children in diapers at night is not good from experience i am really messed up on account of my mother keeping me in diapers at night until i was in my teens i was still in a crib at age 8 and still had to have bottle at night. to this day now i am 30 years old and a father of an 8 year old and i would never put my son through what ive been through. i still sleep in diapers at night and have my bottle,ive been seeing a shrink for about 3 years now and i just cant seem to give it up it has become a security for me.i would love to stop it but it has gone on for too long now and i dont know what to do anymore. my spouse has left me on account of the problem but she said that wasnt the reason but i know it is. other than that i do lead a normal life,so thats why i think that keeping your child in diapers is not the solution where as they will become more attached to them and will find it hard to let them go.it s very hard for me to confront to this problem but think about your childs future dont scar them with this because it does have its long term affect thank you for listening bye for now |
