Reply from Maggie, Child's Age 11 - 3/9/02 - IP#: 12.86.11.85Joan -- We use cloth and plastic pants exclusively, for environmental and cost reasons, and because we have heard that disposables like Goodnites have a tendency to leak. However, Goodnites might not be a bad idea for sleepovers even if they do leak a little. Our boy gets diapered now for car trips and other special times as a general precaution and for the convenience of not having to make bathroom stops. We do try to get him to a bathroom for BM’s since he is embarassed to tears if he has a messing accident, but otherwise he uses his diapers. I am a bit nervous that trip diapers will be more difficult this spring when he is no longer in snowpants. Our lifestyule is fairly conservative and we are not into the “baggy shorts” thing, so it remains to be seen if our son will go back to fussing when warm weather comes. |
