Maggie - Thanks for the advice about sleepovers. I want to be prepared in case it ever happens. I have read that some kids conceal the fact that they need nappies by wearing GoodNites (called DryNites here in the UK) under boxers or PJs for sleepovers. Here in the UK they only sell sizes to fit up to 10 year olds, so I don’t know whether they would be big enough for Tom (waist size 27”), or whether suggesting them for sleepovers would trigger a typical Asperger’s tantrum. What type of diaper does your boy wear in bed, and has he tried GoodNites? If so, can they withstand more than one wetting? You say that your boy has few daytime problems, but you diaper him for long car trips. Do you tell him to use his diaper throughout the trip, or only when it is inconvenient to have a rest stop? What type of diaper does he wear for car trips? I put Tom in Tena Slips (small size – 20” to 31” waist) for long trips when a change is required mid journey. Thanks again for your help.
