As parents we feel guilty about the way we have handled his wetting problems, but we also know that we had little choice. Michael is a full-time wetter, and wears protection all the time. As parents, how do you feel about putting your children in diapers for day-long excursions, when you know that he or she is likely to wet in them all day when there are probably occasions during the day when a toilet is nearby? I wish we had been less tolerant of Michael's moods and rages and made more of an effort to direct him to toilets and so on. |
