We had a similar situation and it took nearly a month (and a few paddlings) for our boy to settle down and accept the fact that he was going to be diapered at night. How did you get through those first three nights? You’ll find life is a lot easier once you are in a routine, although each new step (staying in a hotel, sleeping over at relatives) may be a challenge. Right now we are working on daytime diapers for car trips and special days (amusement parks,etc.) but again we are getting a lot of resistance. (We were encouraged to find one parent on this board--maryann, below--who uses them under snow pants when her boy goes out to play or for snowmobiling due to the convenience of not having to stop and look for bathrooms, etc.) So let us know how it goes. |
