My daughter, Caite, is 10 and she wears diapers during the day and the night. She started bedwetting a year ago, because she was too lazy to get up and go potty in the toilet at night. We knew that and we had to have her start wearing diapers during the night so we didn't have to clean the sheets and after school so that she wasn't inconvienced by having to go to the toilet. In July, when she was at her babysitters, because I had to go to work she was wearing underwear and she peed while watching TV because she was again too lazy to get up and go to the bathroom. The babysitter called me at work and I just said, put her in a disposable diaper and her shirt because she was being lazy. When I got there I had a pack of diapers with her name on each diaper, the babysitter has us bring diapers with the childs name on them and babywipes. She was to wear diapers to the babysitters and be changed there like the other babies. From then on she has worn diapers all day (pullups at school and Luvs at home). she wears jeans and yes, sometimes you can tell she has a pull up on...its her own fault because she chooses to be lazy. When we are at a party I usually go and bring the diaper bag, when she is dirty we go to the bathroom and she gets changed. It is a huge trouble to keep her in diapers but I don't know what else to do with a child that wont use the toilet like it's suppose to be used.
