Like you, I've used cloth diapers and plastic pants, because of economy and the possibility of adding an extra pad. Last year my eldest son became a bit uncomfortable about me still diapering him, he's a teenager now, and growing! We agreed to try disposable diapers, and he started putting them on himself.
