To Allexus, in reference to your opinion that sometimes a child just likes "reliving a moment when there wasn't a care in the world", would you feel the same way if what your child wanted to "relive" was breastfeeding or crawling all the time?? Of course not! You wouldn't let your child act in such a way because it is unnatural and harmful to your child's development and maturity. Perhaps if you could relate to your child the same sense of security and comfort that you did when she was a baby in a way that will allow her to grow and mature as a normal child, your daughter would not have a desire to act like a baby again. A child "playacting" is harmful, but it sounds to me like you allow your child's playacting to overlap into reality and soon your child will get confused on what is what. You should seek counseling from your child's doctor or a psychiatrist.
