hi there. my little brother is ten and about three weeks ago he wet the bed for the first time. Then he wet it again, a few days after, and he still wets the bed about once every four-five days. He told me but he doesn't want our parents know that. I change him and help him to make his bed, but I'll leave home soon to go to university and he'll be alone. I believe Dad has realised that, althought he said nothing, but Mom doesn't know that. I want he tells her before I'm gone, because she'll eventually find out - what's more, I guess he may need some medical advice. what can I do? He's afraid of telling our mother, although I'm pretty sure she would never punish him. It seems to me he has the typical fears of a bedwetting child: he's afraid she won't love him anymore, that she'll think he's stupid, and that she'll tell his teachers and so on.. I don't dare to tell him his fears are childish and that Mom would nevere do that, I'll probably hurt him if I say that. what can I do? Recently all of us had tough time - our Grandmother passed on, we moved, Mom has a new job. I fear she can be under pressure herself and can't be as understanding as we hope, and may get angry because we didn't tell her sooner. should we make sure our father knows that and ask him to talk to out mother? or should my little brother talk to her? thanks for any advice. Ely
