Mechele, The good new is, I believe, that bedwetting will eventually stop on its own for most children as their body grows. I wet the bed as a child until I was about 12 or 13 years old. I do not remember how many nights per week that I wet, but I know it was often. But, like I said, I eventually grew out of it without any special treatment of any kind, only understanding and caring parents. Now my oldest son who is almost twelve still wets the bed, almost everynight. My wife gets very frustrated with him and often scolds him. I try to talk with her, but she does not listen. We recently had him start wearing diapers at night. I was not too keen on the idea at first as I thought it would lower his already low esteem. However, he seems to be acting normally and it keeps the bed dry each night. I know he is slightly embarrassed about wearing diapers, but we keep the secret withing the immediate family. Hopefully, with the incentive to get out of the diapers, he will stop wetting sooner. We also pray a lot!
