My son appreciated the drier bed the diapers provided til he outgrew wetting when he was 11. Try not to make it sound like punishment. Explain the family history of bedwetting and that it is not his fault. But there isn't the time or money to deal with the laundry issue of so much bedding. We actually used 'bedwetter pants' which are much easier to put on and just called them his nite pants. TEven if using diapers try to let him put on in privacy of his room. While our son was younger we would compliment him on a 'dry" bed even though he had wet diaper. As he got older we said nothing and let him handle the problem |
