Dear Raylene, putting a nappy on a child is all well and good how ever you are Not teaching him to use the toilet you have a 13 yr old boy who by averages his Bladder should at least be maturing by putting a child of your sons age in a nappy is not letting him learn! you say it is better for him and you Yes there are arguments on that score that he does not sleep in a wet bed Thats nice also you say it is better for you Because you dont have to wash the wet sheets every day but you have to wash the nappies or do you make your son do that? have you not heard of washing machines?even on this board in the bopening pages they are not exponents of putting diapers/nappies on children have you heard the Term infantilism or Adult baby? well there is research done that there is a growing thesis that if you keep your child in diapers/nappies that if kept in nappies then later they like the feel and comfort and Security that a child does have when in a Diaper/nappy i ask you all to explore these possibilities and to ask your self do you want your child to be permanently in nappies when in a few years Hence they really dont need these!yes there are cases where adults and children have medical problems and really need to have protection but what I am on about is those children whom have been checked out and have had no diagnoses to say that they have a medical problem to support the need for protection ......Think about it also there is cases where parents dont want their children to grow up! Im not saying that you or any one that posts on this board is one of those parents as it is not for me to say but please parents think seriously about what I have said!.
