neither is it a case for corporal punishment either Terry Children wet the Bed for several reasons 1. They cannot help it due to a physical problem or a mentally disadvantage problem. 2 because there bladder is not matured properly and cannot hold the urine! 3. psychological problems something is troubling that child and it is haveing a psychological effect on that child which means that a sympathetic ear not a hard handed approach is needed one needs to find out what is troubling that child !and get to the root of the problem before any success would be achieved . in this case the father has discovered that her 13 yr old daughter has deliberately wetting the bed and has resorted too makeing her wear a nappy which can be demeaning for a child the father suspects it is because they moved house and the child is deliberately wetting the bed as a form protest against moveing ! well although we as parents need to exert structured dicipline and Not let the child run riot over the parents other wise I would agree there would be anarchy however saying that children are little human beings and have certain moral and welfare rights!I am not going to be drawn further into the moral ethics of parenting a child as 1 it would not be fair to criticise this father for what he thought was doing right. there were in my day no books telling you how or to fetch up a child we learnt by our parents but I have tried to fetch up my children as I was Brought up but have tried to look further and constructifly rectify the mistakes if any my parents made!by looking at how I was brought up and useing the good parts and then utilising them into my parenting concepts!.
