Reply from Tom, Child's Age 10/15/20 - 4/20/03 - IP#: 62.252.32.6dear Robert smacking a child for wetting is unproductive even though you say that it worked on your sonbut not on your 13yr old Daughter 13 yr old teenagers are begining to go through their rebellious yrs I have a 20 yr old daughter who at the age of 13 rebelled against authoritarian ism but with careful persuation she has become a beutiful young lady who now has her own child! obviously moving house is quite traumatic and can cause resistance in children useually these resistant acts calm down after a while i suggest that you use logic, calmness and above all patience what does your partner have to say in all this ? anyway you say that she wet before falling a sleep well wetting can be a comfort to children and after all she is still a child! and so I would explain that every person has to be responsible for their own hygiene and that includes your daughter it is especially important if a person wets that she has to take care of her washing not her clothes but her personal hygiene obviously if you are useing cloth then she also wears the plastic pants as well!what she is doing subconciously is saying hey you cant do this to me moving house it is a form of silent protestbe patient with her and kind !try to understand and the same goes for your son! sometimes wetting is done subconciously through moveing! obviously your wife must have checked on your daughter! to have found her wet while awake! anyway hope this is of help good luck !
