Reply from Bob, Child's Age 15,16 - 2/4/03 - IP#: 63.214.8.3I agree with what the site owners wrote to which the other Bob refers, because I also believe that many kids desire to wear diapers for emotional or fetish reasons and may wet on purpose in order to be able to do so. If you search the Internet at large or look at the polls on this site, or the bulletin board postings, or the messages in the chatrooms, you will see ample evidence of this (I've seen lots of this when my daughter has chatted). It is argued by some on this parents board that it is adults posing as kids who are the diaper lovers, teen babies, etc. on this site. But it seems quite far-fetched to postulate that such behavior does not start until adulthood. The overwhelming desire to wear diapers apparently results from a fantasy or deep yearning to leap back into infancy, and that would likely start at a young age. The extremes of that fantasy are the teen baby postings such as those of Betty. These extremes apparently are all part of the same spectrum of behaviors of kids and adults wanting to wear diapers and even wetting on purpose. How this relates to typical bedwetting and day wetting and what percentage of bedwetting and day wetting is due to diaper attraction is still unclear, but we are gradually getting a clearer picture of a very fuzzy subject! |
