It comes with puberty...I hope your parents have explained all of that to you and that it is part of the early growth stages of manhood. When you get up (OK I know this sounds really gross) but smell the liquid that you wet. IF it does not smell like urine, that is something else called semen. Your male "hormones" are beginning to work overtime as the rest of the body develops, your system is overproducing semen therefore it leaks when you sleep. There is nothing wrong with you. This is perfectly normal. All young men have this happen; it will last for a while - for some it could be no more than a few weeks, for others months over even a year or more. I suggest that you talk to your mom and dad and that you find some cloth pull-up trainers or nappies for youth, something that will fit you and are very absorbant. Do NOT use plastic pants, your skin needs to breath, that is, have access to air even at night to keep the skin healthy. In the U.K., it's quite common for parents to use wool nappy pullup covers for their babies - if you can find some of these in your size, that is the best way to go, something that will allow extra absorbancy, minimize leakage and still let your skin breath. Also, take full responsibility taking care of yourself in this matter. Each morning, make sure you clean yourself well where you wet, have a place for your wet pants and launder them yourself. Finally, I know you are scared, all young men are when this starts to occur. Young women have some similar problems during puberty, as well. Again, it's all perfectly normal, your mom and dad should help you with this all, if not, find another adult relative or friend that you can respect to help you. And DON'T be afraid to wear some kind of nappie. They are nothing more than clothing to retain leaks :-) YOu are not a baby, you are a young man. Good luck, nick! |
