Julian I much prefer terry nappies to disposables for the same reasons but I also got some very ichy rashes when I tried disposables. It sounds as though you have never been dry at nite. I was dry from 9 til I started wetting again at 14 at about the time that my dad died and I still wet evry nite. I wear 36 inch size terry nappies which my mum got from a firm called arizona on the net cos I just wouldnt be able to fit in ordinary 24 inch terry nappies which I wore when I was 9. The 36 inch nappies are also better cos they look more like white towels when they are drying on the line in the garden so most people who see them dont know that I wear nappies in bed. Arizona also makes large size strong nappy pins and good plastic pants with the elastic covered so the pee doesnt wick out and make the bed wet. Unfortunatly the longest lasting pants that they make are see thru which means that my mum can see my wet nappy thru them when she calls me down for breakfast before Ive had a chance to take my nappy and t shirt off and have a shower. I used to be very embarased about that but Ive got used to it and dont mind now. I hope you get dry soon.
