In about 6 months I went from wetting 2 or 3 times a night most of the time to hardly ever having accidents. I still have to get up to go to the bathroom almost every night (and probably will for the rest of my life, as a lot of people do), but I think the stretching exercises helped me a lot in at least training my bladder to hold on long enough for my brain to get the signal and wake me up during the night. I also noticed dramatic improvement in how long I could "hold it" during the day and went from having frequent day accidents to none at all. I'd definitely encourage you to try it; just be prepared to stick with it for awhile, and don't be discouraged if you don't se any results for a few weeks. If this doesn't help you, then you'll at least be able to tell the specialist that when you turn 18! Best of luck to you; if you have any more questions you can feel free to e-mail me at smallblad77@hotmail.com. -- Adam |
