Chris, Welcome to adolescence. Your problem is very common and usually begins during or just after puberty, and 14 is about the right age for that. It is also more common in kids that were late bedwetters (after about age 5). During adolescence your body is changing from a child to an adult and you will experience many changes, growth spurts, voice changes, body hair, sexual development, etc. In this case you probably had a growth spurt and your bladder didn't keep up, leaving you temporarily with a bladder that is too small. This can cause both bedwetting and more frequent trips to the bathroom during the day. Your bladder will catch up eventually, but in the meantime you may need to use some protection at night.
