I forgot to mention: You don't have to think of yourself as a baby. You are a complete individual, and as you can see, there are plenty of others in your situation. Sometimes diapers are the logical response to keep the bed dry. Yes it is embarrassing, but it is not shameful. To get out of having your mom bring home diapers from the store, you could consider using cloth rather than disposables. Once purchased, they are pretty much out of sight. I wish you luck.
