Reply from Tammy , Age 26hi. i'm 26. a similar thing happened to me. but it happened (the wetting came back) when i was 12. i don't know what started it again either. it's definitely a pain. mine has not gone away either. i have a couple dry nights here or there, but i can't risk the wet sheets (way too much laundry!) so, i wear adult diapers to bed at night. i couldn't hide it from my parents when i was 12, because i didn't have a job or a way to buy the diapers. when i turned 16, and could get a job, it was much easier. i went out and bought the diapers. my parents just thought the wetting magically stopped at that point, because they never found any more wet sheets. any way i've just dealt with the fact that i wet. who knows maybe one day it will stop just as quick as it all started. as far as your friends go, if they are really your friends, they'll be mature enough to realize that it's a medical condition that you cannot help. if they cannot realize this, or handle the situation, then maybe they're not the kind of friends you want to have anyway. good luck. i'll be thinking of you. |
