Tim, I sympathize and wish you well. At your age, wearing diapers is more than an inconvenience, I'm sure. It's good you have an understanding wife. I'd appreciate hearing about the treatment you're receiving. What is it, is it uncomfortable, how well is it working, etc. I began wearing diapers nearly two years ago to control growing incontinence caused by a complication of diabetes. My doctor understood when I told him I did not want to take meds (I take enough of them already) or go through invasive treatments to control it. Because of the underlying cause, treatment would not likely be successful anyway. It took a while, but I've become quite comfortable with wearing diapers, and my life is more pleasant than before. But I'm 56. At this age, wearing diapers seems less odd than it might have when I was 25. 30 years ago, I would have made a different decision, I think. Good luck with your treatments.
