First of all, it is not that bad when your friends find out. They say "You still wet the bed, how old are you?" When you tell them, you can see the wheels turning in their head as they think "My mom told me (6 or what ever)was pretty old for bed wetting" That is generally all that happens. I would just put a waterproof cover on the matress and mabey wear good nights or somthing similar during stressfull periods like finals. And try not to worry about it too much.
