Well, I did it. we went to lunch yesterday and we talked and I asked her why she won't let me get close and she alluded to her problem and i. very discreetly told her that I understood about it and that it didn't bother me. I asked her if she would like for me to stay the night and I could sleep on the couch if she didn't feel comfortable with me in the same bed. she giggled and said that that would be nice, so I did. I quietly disappeared when she got ready for bed and made sure that she was tucked in before I came to say good night. The next morning she crawled under the covers with me and thanked me for being so wonderful and understanding. we are so close now and it's great. Thank you all, Jason
