And then there are those like me that stop and then start again years later. Bedwetting often has nothing to do with your kidneys and bladder, but is more of a sleep disorder. Even a person with a small bladder will wake up when it is full, but a bedwetter is a very deep sleeper and just doesn't wake up. It is also hereditary and you should ask your parents if either of them was a bedwetter, and if so at what age did they stop. Most kids of bedwetters stop around the same age their parents did. You might try a bedwetting alarm; lots of people can be trained to wake up when they have a full bladder. If that doesn't work, your parents should at least buy diapers for you if you need them. I believe it is the parents' responsibility to provide for their childrens' needs until they are grown. |
