Just in addition to John's reply, first you might try over the counter yeast infection cream. It may save you a doctor bill and will be much cheaper than a prescription! The cream I use is over the counter and it works great. I just use it after cleaning up, or after my shower. Apply liberally at diaper change, it even seems to work if you wet your diaper right away!
