Scott, Tough break ... I've never had an experience like that with a g/f (I am currently a grad student and don't get the chance to date much) but I'm quite familiar with the difficulty of bringing this issue up with someone (I was also a chronic wetter as a kid, now maybe 2-3 times a month) and experiences like this don't make it any easier. Ultimately, though, if she can't accept this problem then she's probably not the best match for you anyway, and she would have had to find out sooner or later. Although you may want to try talking to her again in a couple of days -- it's possible that after the initial shock wears off that she may react a little differently and be more understanding. You may even point her to sites like this to show her there are a great many other people out there with the same problem.
